Welcome. We thank you for choosing Heartland Child Care. Here is some helpful information about our childcare center. 

We Encourage Family Involvement

We want to make sure parents are fully involved in their child's day at our center. When you pick up your child, we will communicate: 
  • How your child's day went
  • Their progress
  • Different activities
  • Daily learning processes
  • Any concerns
  • Areas of opportunity

One-on-one scheduled times are also available to further discuss your child's progress. These meeting are available for one-hour blocks. We are happy to answer any questions.

Safety Is Important

Your child's safety is of utmost importance to us. We have a 24 /7 surveillance system in place to ensure the safety of our kids. 

We also have a security code to our entrance that parents are given. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

We Accept Title XX (Title 20)

Welcome Title XX (Title 20) clients. Our center is licensed to accommodate Title XX (Title 20) and discounts are available. Please inquire in person or over the phone at 402-504-9957 about available discounts.

Our Center Meals 

Breakfast: 8:00 am - 8:30 am
Lunch: 11:00 am - 11:30 pm
Snack: 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Dinner: 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Children should arrive at the meal start time to be included in the serving. Please do not bring outside food to daycare. On a child's special occasion, such as a birthday, they may bring a snack- as long as they notify the center director a week in advance. 

If you have special requests as to what your child can or cannot eat, please go over this with the director. Parents, we also need a written request describing the child's food allergies. We do provide Kirkland Formula (an off brand of Enfamil w/iron) to the infants and we will provide the baby food and baby cereal for the babies when they are ready.
